Molly Ames Head Coach

Hi everyone!!! My name is Molly Ames and I am the new head coach of the OakAmber Swim Team. I have been competitively swimming since I was four years old and have been swimming for Tidal Wave basically my entire life. I have also been teaching swim lessons for about five years now. I graduated last year from Hiram High School and was named Paulding County Swimmer of the Year in 2021, 2022, and 2023. I was a state swimmer all four years and was picked by my fellow teammates to be captain sophomore, junior, and senior year. I now go to Berry College and swam this past season as a Berry Viking. At Berry, I am a Biochemistry major and currently minoring in Engineering. I know what a difference a coach can make on someone’s love for swimming, so my goal is to improve the team’s ability, add even more positivity to the team, and create lifelong buddies. Some of my favorite things include sunshine, the color blue, Taylor Swift, watermelon and backstroke! I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and can’t wait to start this season!!
